Kili Villa rises from a private estate with open views of Mount Meru, Kili Villa offers a quiet alternative to the region’s busier safari lodges. The property sits a short drive from Arusha and about 40 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport, with access to a private airstrip nearby.

For many travelers, it serves as a calm starting point or final stop before heading into Tanzania’s national parks.

The estate blends privacy with attentive service. Open lawns, mature trees and distant mountain views frame a collection of fully staffed villas designed for couples, families and small groups. The setting feels removed, yet close enough to Arusha National Park for easy day trips.

African-inspired villas, chef and gardens

Each villa features generous living space, high ceilings and wide windows that draw in natural light. Interiors mix clean, modern lines with African textures and earth-toned fabrics.

Private terraces and courtyards offer quiet corners for reading or conversation, while pools and gardens provide room to unwind after a day on safari.

Accommodation ranges from individual rooms at Kili Villa Lodge to exclusive-use villas such as Villa Kudu and Villa Tembo Mtoni.

Layouts include multiple en-suite bedrooms, open-plan living and dining areas, and indoor-outdoor spaces suited to shared meals and long evenings. All villas are air-conditioned, fully serviced and catered, with staff on hand to tailor each stay.

Dining is a central part of the experience. A private chef prepares meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast may be served on the veranda to the sound of birdsong; dinner can unfold beside the pool or under a clear night sky. Guests choose the pace and setting.

Wi-Fi is available throughout, allowing visitors to stay connected as much or as little as they wish.

Nature at the doorstep

Kili Villa sits within a wildlife and golf estate where animals roam freely. On the grounds and near the fairways, guests may spot dik-dik, zebra, wildebeest, gazelles and a range of birdlife. Horseback rides across the plains offer a closer look at the landscape, with options for beginners and experienced riders alike.

Beyond the estate, Lake Duluti, a crater lake less than 30 minutes away, offers guided canoe trips past forested shores known for eagles, kingfishers and other bird species.

Arusha National Park lies about 15 minutes from the villa, while Mount Kilimanjaro National Park is roughly 90 minutes by road. Additional parks can be reached within two hours for day trips with a private guide.
