Hassan Allam Construction, part of Hassan Allam Holding — one of the largest privately held engineering and development firms in the Middle East and North Africa — has been awarded a $550 million contract for a 305-feddan development in New Cairo.
The project, developed in partnership with Grova Developments and Hassan Allam Properties, will be carried out on a turnkey basis.
Which includes the design and construction of standalone villas, twin villas, townhouses, commercial and office spaces, and supporting mixed-use buildings.
The scope also covers core infrastructure and landscaped areas that will tie the community together.
At its heart, the master plan, which focuses on sustainable living, open spaces, and quiet luxury — blending modern design with a sense of community.

Building on nine decades of craft
Founded in 1936, Hassan Allam Holding has grown from a small family firm into a regional leader with a project backlog of about $6 billion, and employs about 50,000 employees across 18 subsidiaries.
The company operates across 10 countries in sectors including energy, logistics, water, and industrial infrastructure.
Led by Hassan and Amr Allam, the firm has delivered more than 12 million square meters of completed projects, building a reputation for reliability and attention to detail.
Each development, the company says, reflects its focus on long-term value rather than short-term gain.
This latest project adds to a steady record of successful collaborations across Egypt and the wider region.

Expanding footprint, strengthening partnerships
In recent months, Hassan Allam Construction has taken on new international projects, including a major contract in Muscat, Oman, to build key water and wastewater infrastructure.
The deal reflects the company’s broader effort to strengthen its presence in regional infrastructure markets.

Back home, Hassan Allam and Schneider Electric recently launched a solar-powered smart farming initiative in Egypt’s Nile Delta, designed to improve food security and promote clean energy.
The company has also signed an agreement with The Arab Contractors to overhaul Alexandria’s historic Raml Tram system.
The contract, awarded by the National Authority for Tunnels, represents a major step in modernizing public transport in Egypt’s second-largest city.

Investing in social impact
Beyond construction, the group is extending its reach into social development.
Egyptian business leaders Naguib Sawiris and Hassan Allam, through their foundations, have entered a four-year, EGP 200 million ($4.2 million) partnership aimed at reducing poverty, supporting education, and improving agriculture across several governorates.
The initiative highlights a growing focus among Egypt’s private sector leaders on shared responsibility and sustainable impact.
A Portfolio that shapes modern egypt
Over the years, Hassan Allam Holding has been behind some of the country’s best-known developments.
Its portfolio includes SwanLake Residences, ParkView, and SwanLake Katameya in New Cairo; Seasons Residence; HAPTOWN and Park Central in Mostakbal City; SwanLake West and SwanLake October in West Cairo; SwanLake North Coast; SwanLake El Gouna; Encore-SwanLake El Gouna; and Little Venice in Ain Sokhna.
Each project reflects the company’s consistent approach — combining craftsmanship, functionality, and respect for the environment to create communities built to last.
