At a Glance

  • Offers sleek rooms with water views and a quiet, design-led boutique feel.
  • Features a lagoon-facing infinity pool terrace ideal for relaxed, crowd-free downtime.
  • Serves Mediterranean and Japanese dishes in two focused, easygoing dining spaces.

The Address Boutique Hotel Mauritius, a 42-room boutique hotel located at Route Cotiere, Port Chambly, Mauritius, brings a quieter, more personal experience to the island’s hospitality scene.

Set in Port Chambly, a Mediterranean-style village ten minutes from Port Louis, the hotel blends simple design, calm lagoon views and an easygoing pool terrace that appeals to business travellers and short-stay guests who want comfort without the size of a large resort.

Now part of the Ninety-Six Hotel Collection, the property has evolved into a polished four-star stay with an emphasis on service and understated style.

Its location works for travellers who want quick access to the capital and the northern beaches while keeping a bit of distance from the island’s busy coastal strips.

A location that makes travel easy
Port Chambly sets a relaxed tone. With a lagoon on one side and a gentle river on the other, the neighbourhood feels more like a quiet waterfront settlement than a typical hotel zone.

Fishing boats and calm mornings anchor the setting, while nearby markets and the Caudan Waterfront keep everyday needs within easy reach.

Rooms built for simple, steady comfort
With just 42 rooms, The Address keeps things focused. Light colours, clean lines and Italian-inspired furnishings shape the interiors, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame water or village views.

Junior suites add more space and private terraces for guests who want a slower pace. The atmosphere is calm and uncluttered.

Dining that feels familiar and well judged
The hotel’s two restaurants give clear choices: La Fourchette for Mediterranean dishes and Izumi for Japanese-inspired cooking.

Both rely on fresh seafood, local produce and relaxed presentations that let the setting do much of the work. Meals feel warm and personal rather than formal.

A pool terrace designed for downtime
The infinity pool is the most photographed corner of the hotel, a slim strip of water facing the lagoon, bordered by daybeds, cabanas and pergolas.

It’s designed for atmosphere rather than spectacle, making sunset drinks and daytime lounging feel easy and unhurried. A small spa and fitness room round out the amenities.

A fit for short stays, work trips and small celebrations
The hotel’s scale suits birthdays, anniversaries, meetings and overnight stopovers. Terraces and private dining areas make small gatherings feel meaningful, while the location keeps travel plans simple.

The nearby Address Residences offer serviced apartments for longer stays or families seeking more space.

A straightforward, well-balanced stay near Port Louis
The Address Boutique Hotel succeeds by keeping things clear and intentional. Guests often praise the friendly staff, tidy design and calm setting, while its size makes expectations easy to manage.

For travellers who want a convenient, design-minded stay with lagoon views and unfussy dining, the hotel offers a well-balanced alternative to Mauritius’ bigger coastal resorts.
