  • Deli Group launches a major Egypt factory to scale regional manufacturing and exports.
  • The new 160,000-square-meter site strengthens supply chains across Africa, Europe, and the Gulf.
  • The facility is expected to generate $200 million yearly and boost Egypt’s industrial growth.

Deli Group, one of China’s largest global manufacturers, is accelerating its Africa and Middle East growth strategy with a new production facility in Egypt’s 10th of Ramadan City.

The company laid the foundation stone during a high-level ceremony, signaling a major push to expand regional manufacturing, strengthen supply chains, and tap rising demand across Africa, Europe, and Gulf markets.

The new factory spans a 160,000-square-meter site and is positioned to become a core industrial base for Deli’s operations in Egypt.

The project is part of a broader plan to increase foreign investment in Egypt’s fast-growing manufacturing sector and support the country’s push to localize key industries, boost exports, and attract global brands seeking cost-competitive production hubs.

New facility boosts Egypt’s export ambitions

Deli is not starting from scratch. The company already operates a 20,000-square-meter facility in Egypt that manufactures more than 180 products for local consumers. The upcoming expansion is designed to scale output, diversify product lines, and supply regional markets more efficiently amid rising demand for office supplies, tools, printers, and educational products.

During the ceremony, officials and executives reviewed Egypt’s industrial-development strategy, Deli’s product-innovation plans, and the factory’s role in strengthening regional trade flows. The event highlighted how Egypt is increasingly positioning itself as a manufacturing and export hub for companies looking to serve Africa, Europe, and the Middle East from a centralized location.

The new project marks a significant milestone in Deli Group’s global expansion, underscoring Egypt’s rising appeal as a destination for large-scale industrial investments. The partnership is expected to support local production, deliver high-quality goods, build technical capabilities, and create new jobs while expanding Egypt’s export portfolio into additional markets.

Deli expands global reach with Egypt investment

Deli Group remains a dominant global force, reporting more than $6 billion in international sales annually and operating in over 100 countries. Its integrated ecosystem spans product design, R&D, large-scale manufacturing, and worldwide distribution, supporting long-term growth through innovation and market expansion.

Once fully operational, the Egypt facility is projected to generate roughly $200 million in annual sales. The factory will strengthen the company’s regional distribution networks, anchor supply-chain efficiencies, and contribute to economic growth by expanding manufacturing jobs and export capacity.

Founded in 1981, Deli Group is widely recognized for its extensive range of office supplies, tools, stationery, printers, and school products. Its brands, including Deli Office, Deli Tools, and Deli School—maintain strong consumer reach, supporting major international events and supplying markets across more than 140 countries.

With this new investment, Deli Group deepens its long-term commitment to Egypt while advancing the nation’s goal of becoming a leading industrial and export hub in the region.
