Liquid C2, a business of Cassava Technologies, a leading pan-African technology company owned by Zimbabwean billionaire, Strive Masiyiwa, has entered a partnership with CyberCoach to expand cybersecurity training and compliance tools for organizations across Africa.

The agreement brings CyberCoach’s privacy-first, artificial intelligence-powered training platform into Liquid C2’s cybersecurity offerings, with the goal of helping companies reduce the risk of cyberattacks caused by human error.

The platform delivers security awareness training through tools employees already use daily, including Microsoft Teams and Slack, as well as through standard web browsers.

Expanding cybersecurity training across Africa

Vinay Hiralall, chief commercial officer at Liquid C2, said the partnership comes as businesses across Africa accelerate their adoption of digital technologies.

“The African digital transformation market is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of about 15.6% between 2026 and 2031,” Hiralall said.

“That growth brings opportunity, but it also raises the stakes for companies that must protect their systems and data.

Working with CyberCoach allows us to help organizations introduce practical training through platforms employees already use every day.”

CyberCoach focuses on tailored learning rather than standardized courses. Training paths are designed around an employee’s role, with lessons delivered through interactive chat-based tools and short modules aimed at improving everyday security habits.

Through the partnership, Liquid C2 will distribute the platform across its network of enterprise clients, small and medium-sized businesses and public-sector organizations.

The rollout will also use the company’s Cloudmania partner ecosystem to reach customers in multiple African markets.

Building a safer digital workplace

Maria Bique, chief executive officer of CyberCoach, said the company sees the collaboration as a way to scale its approach to cybersecurity education.

“We are proud to collaborate with Liquid C2, whose scale and commitment to digital development across Africa align closely with our mission,” Bique said. “Our approach focuses on practical learning that helps employees build essential security and AI skills.”

Liquid C2 expands Africa cloud security

Liquid C2 operates within Cassava Technologies and is part of the broader Liquid Intelligent Technologies group.

The unit provides managed cloud services, cybersecurity protection and data security solutions across 17 African countries, working with global technology providers including Google Cloud, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.

Masiyiwa, whose wealth Forbes estimates at about $2.2 billion, has long argued that stronger digital infrastructure will play a key role in expanding connectivity and supporting economic growth across Africa.
