Moroccan Mohammed Bouzoubaa’s construction group posts $95 million profit in 2025

Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca (TGCC), the construction group founded by Moroccan construction businessman Mohammed Bouzoubaa, has delivered a standout financial performance, reporting a net profit of over $95 million in 2025.

The Casablanca-based contractor, TGCC, saw its net profit climb by 82.4% year-on-year to MAD952 million ($95.2 million), benefiting from strong execution across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects as Morocco’s infrastructure and real estate sectors gathered momentum. 

Profit growth driven by execution
TGCC’s earnings expansion reflects accelerated project delivery and improved operational efficiency. EBITDA rose 124% to MAD2.6 billion ($260 million), underscoring stronger margins and disciplined cost management.

Balance sheet strengthens as debt declines
The company reduced net debt by 17.7% to MAD554 million ($55.4 million), down from MAD673 million ($67.3 million), supported by improved cash generation and tighter financial controls.

Backlog surges on contract wins
TGCC’s order book climbed 122% to MAD25.57 billion ($2.56 billion), providing strong visibility on future revenues. The surge highlights its ability to secure large-scale contracts in Morocco’s competitive construction market.

Investments rise to support expansion
Capital expenditure increased 284% to MAD672 million ($67.2 million), reflecting investments in equipment, capacity and technical capabilities to support long-term growth.

Looking ahead, TGCC plans deeper integration with STAM VIAS to unlock synergies and strengthen execution. The group is targeting high-growth sectors including infrastructure, water, energy and logistics, aligning with Morocco’s long-term development strategy.
