Luxury hospitality brand Nikki Beach Hospitality Group is set to expand its global footprint with the announcement of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech, slated to open in 2028.

The property, located along the scenic Route de l’Ourika on Marrakech’s outskirts, will combine the city’s vibrant cultural energy with the serenity of the Atlas Mountains.

The resort is designed as a fully integrated lifestyle destination, bringing together a luxury hotel, branded residences, and a signature beach club just 20 minutes from Marrakech Menara Airport.

Its architecture will blend modern Moroccan design with lush, oasis-inspired landscapes, aiming to set a new standard for luxury in North Africa.

Suites, residences, and amenities

The resort will feature over 100 private suites, from 45-square-meter accommodations to expansive high-end options, including a 500-square-meter Celebration Suite. Guests will have access to multiple dining venues, outdoor bars, and curated leisure spaces designed for both relaxation and social connection.

The residential enclave will include more than 50 serviced villas with private pools, outdoor jacuzzis, sunken gardens, and dedicated parking. Landscaped pathways and tranquil lagoons will link the villas to the resort’s full amenities, from wellness facilities to the beach club.

Wellbeing is central to the project. A wellness centre will offer hammams, saunas, steam rooms, therapy suites, and a lap pool, alongside a beauty and health space and juice bar.

An underground sports complex will feature a 500-square-meter gym, yoga studios, squash courts, a golf simulator, and a private cinema. Outdoor amenities will include tennis and padel courts, while a dedicated kids club will provide tailored programming for younger guests.

Marrakech Beach Club anchors luxury resort

The beach club will serve as the resort’s social heart. Anchored by a main pool with floating platforms and pool beds, the space will feature sunken bars, a DJ booth, live performance areas, and multiple dining concepts.

A retail component, including a lifestyle boutique and selection of local goods, will connect the experience to both regional and global culture. Open to guests and visitors alike, the club is expected to become one of Marrakech’s most lively social spaces.

Nikki Beach Marrakech joins a pipeline of international projects, including upcoming destinations in Antigua, Ras Al Khaimah, Baku, and Muscat, reflecting the brand’s steady expansion into key luxury markets.

“Marrakech is a city full of culture, energy, and timeless appeal,” said Rémi Delpech, COO of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts. “We are creating more than a resort. We are building a lifestyle ecosystem that brings together a luxury hotel, private residences, a lively beach club, and wellness and lifestyle offerings.”

Nikki Beach: From Miami Beach to a global brand

Founded in 1998 by Jack and Lucia Penrod, Nikki Beach began as a small garden café on Miami Beach. It gradually evolved into a luxury beach club blending music, dining, entertainment, fashion, film, and art.

Over the past 25 years, the group has grown into Nikki Beach Hospitality Group, a family-owned company with hotels, resorts, branded residences, restaurants, spas, and boutiques worldwide.

In 2024, the group launched Lucia Restaurants, a maximalist dining concept, and in 2025, introduced Maison Mer, a Provence-inspired restaurant celebrating coastal cuisine and slow living.

With nearly 1,400 employees globally, Nikki Beach continues to uphold its “Celebration of Life” philosophy, delivering curated hospitality experiences across its properties.

With its scale, immersive design, and comprehensive offerings, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated luxury openings of 2028, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for combining hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle in one global experience.
