The Marq, one of Egypt’s fastest-rising real estate developers, has announced the launch of inplace, a landmark EGP 30 billion ($629 million) business hub in New Cairo.

The project aims to set a new standard for integrated commercial developments, combining modern business spaces with lifestyle amenities and social zones that cater to Egypt’s growing community of entrepreneurs and global investors.

Covering 20 acres, inplace introduces a business ecosystem designed to blend corporate efficiency with a sense of connection and comfort.

The hub reflects a broader shift in Egypt’s property market, where developers are focusing on smart, sustainable, and design-led commercial environments beyond central Cairo’s crowded corridors.

Redefining work and lifestyle in East Cairo

Strategically positioned between North and South 90th Street, inplace offers direct access to major institutions such as The American University in Cairo and Cairo International Airport.

The location gives it strong appeal for both multinational companies and Egyptian startups seeking proximity to the city’s growing commercial belt.

The master plan, developed with architect Mohamed Fares of Alchemy Group, integrates smart building technologies, advanced security systems, underground parking, and a concierge-style management service.

The design reflects a practical approach to modern work—efficient, secure, and thoughtfully connected to everyday needs.

A new kind of business community

A key feature of the development is Egypt’s first “Business Suites” concept, introducing more than 2,000 serviced offices ranging from 45 to 750 square meters.

These suites are complemented by executive lounges, co-working areas, wellness facilities, and meeting spaces that cater to professionals seeking flexibility and comfort.

“The inplace project embodies our vision of creating a complete business community where creativity and collaboration thrive,” said Amr Badr, Chairman and CEO of The Marq. “It’s more than an office complex—it’s a living environment that mirrors how people want to work and connect today.”

Building for Egypt’s future

Founded in 2019, The Marq has quickly earned recognition in Egypt’s luxury real estate market for its art-inspired architecture and human-centered design.

Its 1,300-acre portfolio includes four residential communities and a flagship commercial destination in East Cairo. Each project underlines the company’s long-term commitment to Egypt’s urban evolution.

With inplace, The Marq is positioning itself at the forefront of Egypt’s next wave of commercial development—one that values design, sustainability, and a sense of place.

The company’s goal is to turn New Cairo into a hub where business, design, and community come together seamlessly—a space where Egypt’s next generation of entrepreneurs can, as Badr puts it, “live inspired.”
