  • EMEA growth surges, driven by Radisson Blu, Radisson Collection, and Radisson RED brands.
  • Asia-Pacific leads the hotel pipeline as China and India fuel Radisson’s rapid development.

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has surpassed 210 hotel signings and openings in 2025, reinforcing its place among the fastest-growing global hotel brands.

Following a strong 2024, the company continues to broaden its presence across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, while diversifying its portfolio across luxury, lifestyle, midscale, and extended-stay offerings.

EMEA growth driven by Radisson Blu and Collection brands

In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Radisson Blu led the group’s expansion, opening new properties in France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro.

Notable projects include the Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris and The Medlock at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

Radisson Collection, the group’s luxury lifestyle brand, added several European properties, including the Basilica Budapest hotel and new locations in Berlin and Lyon, with Paris’ Banke Opera set to open in 2026.

Radisson RED, known for design-focused hotels, launched properties in Oslo, the UK, Romania, India, UAE, and Thailand, including a Verified Net Zero hotel in Oslo.

Meanwhile, Radisson Individuals surpassed 100 properties and introduced three sub-brands—Premier, Boutique, and Retreats—offering more tailored experiences for travelers.

Strong Asia-Pacific expansion

China emerged as a major growth market, with 130 openings and signings in 2025, pushing the development pipeline close to 300 hotels. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson became the fastest-growing midscale brand in China, totaling 375 properties.

In India, RHG now operates more than 130 hotels and has 70 under development across 47 new cities, aiming for 500 hotels by 2030. Additional openings in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia strengthen regional travel networks.

New markets in Africa and the Middle East

RHG entered new African markets, including the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe, while deepening its presence in Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria. In the Middle East, the group expanded to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, targeting both religious tourism and business travel hubs.
