Marriott International will introduce its luxury EDITION brand to Africa with the opening of The Cape Town EDITION in 2026. Located at the bustling V&A Waterfront, the hotel is set to redefine upscale hospitality in one of the continent’s most popular destinations.

A new landmark at the V&A Waterfront 

The Cape Town EDITION, will feature 142 guest rooms, a rooftop bar, and a full-service spa. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the harbor and Table Mountain from floor-to-ceiling windows, while the hotel’s integration into the V&A Waterfront ensures easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The launch is expected to enhance Cape Town’s luxury hotel offerings and add a fresh dynamic to the city’s tourism landscape. 

The hotel’s design reflects EDITION’s signature blend of contemporary style and thoughtful luxury.
