Mantis Collection will open its newest addition, Mantis Hiddn, on March 1, 2026. Nestled within an 800-hectare private reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, the lodge combines off-grid luxury with an immersive wildlife experience. Guests can enjoy high-end amenities while connecting with nature, making it a retreat for those seeking adventure and tranquility.

Mantis Hiddn operates entirely off the grid, relying on solar power, water harvesting, and recycling systems to limit its environmental footprint.

Twelve mountain suites and two private villas are designed to blend with the surrounding landscape. Rooms feature handcrafted KolKol wood-fired tubs, cozy fireplaces, and expansive decks with sweeping views of the reserve.
