JADEER Group is widening its presence in Egypt’s luxury hospitality sector with the launch of a new Hotel Indigo in the New Administrative Capital.

The property marks the brand’s first entry into the city’s emerging business and residential hub, forming part of a mixed-use development that blends hotels, residences, retail, and office spaces.

The approach reflects a growing trend in Egypt to combine lifestyle and convenience for both business and leisure travellers.

This latest project is JADEER’s second collaboration with IHG Hotels & Resorts, following the success of Hotel Indigo Cairo – New Cairo.

The new Hotel Indigo will offer around 140 rooms, with IHG handling day-to-day operations while JADEER retains ownership.

The partnership aims to merge global hospitality standards with local expertise in development and management.

“Hotel Indigo Cairo – New Capital will showcase the brand’s signature style, capturing the cultural and design heritage of the surrounding area in every guest experience,” said Mahmoud Abou El Khair, Chairperson of JADEER Group.

The project comes as Egypt sees growing demand for boutique and lifestyle hotels in business-focused districts like the New Administrative Capital, which is emerging as a center for government offices, finance, and corporate activity.

Mixed-use developments driving growth

The announcement follows JADEER’s launch of RED G on North 90th Street in New Cairo—a mixed-use development that combines serviced apartments, office spaces, retail units, and a 120-room Hotel Indigo.

Over the years, JADEER has delivered more than 75 residential and commercial projects with total investments exceeding $171.26 million.

Its current pipeline includes five mixed-use developments worth nearly $428.29 million, including OBEX in the New Capital’s Financial District, CODE Downtown New Capital, GARNET in New Cairo, and RED G.

For IHG Hotels & Resorts, the project forms part of a strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle offerings in Egypt.

“Egypt remains a priority market, and Hotel Indigo is well-positioned to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers as the urban landscape evolves,” said Haitham Mattar, IHG Managing Director for India, the Middle East, and Africa.
