Triumph Hotels Management and M|A Group is expanding their footprint in Egypt’s fast-growing tourism sector, with plans for a new pyramid-view hotel in West Cairo.

The project, “Triumph Pyramids Hotel,” comes as Egypt steps up efforts to attract more international visitors and private investment into its hospitality industry, a key source of foreign exchange and jobs.

Developers are increasingly targeting sites near the country’s best-known landmarks, where demand for high-end accommodation remains strong among both tourists and investors.

Set near the Giza Pyramids and within easy reach of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the development reflects a broader shift toward premium, experience-led travel.

West Cairo has drawn growing interest in recent years, supported by infrastructure upgrades and government-backed tourism projects.

The partnership was announced at an event in New Cairo, bringing together Triumph’s hospitality experience and M|A Group’s real estate development track record.

The companies plan to deliver a hotel-apartment project aimed at travelers seeking flexible, longer-stay options.

Focus on tourism growth

M|A Group Chairman Mohamed Ayoub said the project supports Egypt’s target of attracting 30 million tourists annually by 2030.

He added that it also aligns with government plans to develop the area surrounding the Grand Egyptian Museum into a leading global destination.

Construction is expected to be completed within three years.

Triumph Hotels will manage and operate the property, while M|A Group will oversee design, planning and development.

The companies say the project will offer a full-service hospitality experience tailored to international standards.

Partnership and market outlook

Triumph Hotels Chairman Ehab Shouman said the partnership reflects a joint effort to raise service quality and support Egypt’s standing as a global tourism destination.

The development also points to a wider shift in the market, as developers focus on mixed-use projects that combine hospitality, residential and commercial elements to attract long-term investment.

Founded in 2007, Triumph Hotels has built its presence in Egypt’s upscale hospitality segment.

M|A Group, for its part, continues to expand across key locations, with a focus on projects that cater to both local demand and international visitors.
