Zambia has unveiled a new owner-led luxury safari brand that brings together four of the country’s premier safari lodges under a single portfolio, a move aimed at strengthening its position in Africa’s fast-growing luxury tourism market.

The newly launched Zambia Luxury Lodge Collection (ZLLC) combines Chichele Presidential, Puku Ridge, Lolebezi and Lolelunga Private Reserve, creating a unified luxury safari circuit across South Luangwa National Park, Lower Zambezi National Park and the exclusive Lolelunga Private Reserve.

The consolidation comes as Zambia seeks to attract more high-net-worth travelers looking for exclusive wildlife experiences, luxury accommodation and conservation-focused tourism.

Direct management to begin in 2027

The launch follows changes in the ownership and management structure of the properties. While Lolebezi has been managed by African Bush Camps, Chichele Presidential and Puku Ridge have operated under separate management partners.

Beginning in 2027, ZLLC will oversee the sales, marketing, reservations and day-to-day operations of all four lodges. Existing partners, including African Bush Camps, will continue promoting the properties through non-exclusive distribution agreements.

The company said the integrated model will simplify bookings for travel advisors while offering guests seamless access to one of Southern Africa’s most exclusive luxury safari itineraries.

Expansion targets U.S. and UK travelers

To support international growth, ZLLC has appointed dedicated sales representatives in the United States and the United Kingdom, two of Zambia’s most important long-haul tourism markets.

Jennifer Beattie, Director of Sales and Marketing at ZLLC, described the launch as a significant milestone that aligns the four properties under a single commercial and operational strategy.

She said the centralized structure will provide international travel partners with direct access to Zambia’s luxury safari offerings through streamlined contracting, reservations, sales and marketing while maintaining strong relationships with existing distribution partners.

Luxury tourism and conservation strategy

Beyond premium hospitality, ZLLC said its long-term strategy centers on conservation, sustainable tourism and community development.

By combining four renowned safari destinations into one luxury portfolio, the collection aims to showcase Zambia’s diverse wildlife experiences while strengthening the country’s reputation as one of Africa’s leading destinations for luxury safari travel.

The launch reflects growing investor confidence in Zambia’s luxury hospitality sector as demand rises for authentic, conservation-led safari experiences among international travelers.
