3C Coding School, an Egyptian EdTech startup and premier platform specializing in coding, technology, and artificial intelligence education for children and youth, has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by MRG Economic Group, with participation from investor Amr Saad and a group of angel investors, as it prepares to expand into Saudi Arabia and develop an AI-powered learning platform.

Saudi Arabia expansion to drive next growth phase

3C Coding School plans to use the fresh capital to establish a stronger presence in Saudi Arabia, targeting the Kingdom’s expanding digital economy and EdTech market. The company intends to leverage local partnerships to accelerate customer and student acquisition while extending its technology education offering beyond Egypt.

Its expansion comes as demand for coding, artificial intelligence and other digital skills continues to rise across the Middle East, driven by broader digital transformation and workforce development initiatives.

AI platform to personalize learning

A significant portion of the new funding will support the development of an AI-powered learning platform designed to make education more personalized.

The platform is expected to analyze individual learning habits, monitor real-time progress, support instructors and dynamically adjust course content according to each student’s pace and capabilities. If deployed at scale, the technology could allow 3C Coding to serve a larger student population while adapting lessons to different levels of ability and progress.

3C Coding School provides technology education for children and young people, covering web and mobile development, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, game development and cybersecurity. Its model combines project-based and interactive learning with an emphasis on logical reasoning, problem-solving and critical thinking rather than focusing solely on coding syntax.

Coding education expands beyond Egypt

Founded in 2015 by Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, 3C Coding has grown its student base to more than 120,000 and recorded 230% revenue growth, providing a foundation for its next phase of regional expansion.

The company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia also reflects the growing movement of Egyptian technology companies into Gulf markets, where governments and businesses are investing heavily in digital skills and technology-driven education. With more than 120,000 students already reached and revenue growing 230%, 3C Coding is entering its next phase with a larger regional ambition.

The key test will be whether the company can replicate its Egyptian growth in Saudi Arabia while successfully turning its AI platform into a scalable learning product. Its local partnerships, pace of market entry and adoption of AI-powered personalization will be critical indicators of how effectively the new capital supports its regional expansion.
