AKDITAL Group, one of Morocco’s largest private healthcare providers, has launched AKDITAL Academy, an internal training platform designed to strengthen its workforce as the company expands its healthcare network across the country.

The initiative comes amid the growth of AKDITAL’s operations to 45 healthcare facilities across 26 cities, with a total capacity of 4,864 beds and a workforce of 10,256 employees. Since the beginning of 2026, the group has added 362 employees as it continues to expand its footprint and healthcare offering.

AKDITAL Academy is intended to formalise the group’s training structure, strengthen employee capabilities and anticipate the skills required as additional facilities and services come online.

AKDITAL expands workforce development alongside healthcare footprint

The Academy will cover multiple stages of an employee’s career, from onboarding new recruits to developing existing employees and preparing staff for new responsibilities within the group.

Its programmes will combine theoretical instruction with practical exercises and field-based learning. The company also plans to provide remote training and draw on experienced healthcare professionals to support the transfer of technical knowledge and operational best practices.

The first cohort comprises approximately 50 employees in operational roles. AKDITAL plans to progressively extend the programme to other categories of employees, particularly paramedical professionals, based on skills requirements identified across its network. The approach is designed to align the capabilities of its workforce with the operational needs of individual facilities while creating greater opportunities for internal mobility.

AKDITAL records more than 41,000 training hours

The new Academy builds on a training programme that AKDITAL had already established across its operations. In 2025, the healthcare group conducted 462 training sessions covering 326 topics, benefiting 2,703 participants and generating 41,822 training hours.

AKDITAL Academy will consolidate these initiatives within a dedicated structure, providing a more coordinated framework for employee development as the group’s workforce continues to grow.

Beyond technical skills, the Academy is also expected to support employee integration and career progression by establishing common standards for work methods, operational practices and knowledge transfer across its facilities. The Academy therefore represents an extension of AKDITAL’s broader expansion strategy, with human capital development being positioned alongside the development of physical healthcare infrastructure.

AKDITAL deepens healthcare presence across Morocco

AKDITAL, listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange in December 2022 has since continued to expand its network of healthcare facilities and services across Morocco. With 45 facilities now operating across 26 cities, the group’s latest workforce initiative comes as its operational footprint requires a larger and increasingly specialised employee base.

The launch of its Academy gives the company a dedicated mechanism for onboarding employees, developing technical and operational skills, supporting internal mobility and preparing its workforce for future expansion.

As the healthcare operator continues to add healthcare capacity across Morocco, the Academy is expected to become an increasingly important component of the group’s efforts to match its growing physical network with the skills required to operate it.
