One Nature Nyaruswiga puts luxury at the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, offering travelers an intimate safari retreat surrounded by one of Africa’s richest wildlife landscapes.

Set among the Nyaruswiga Hills in Central Serengeti, the camp combines remote wilderness access with high-end accommodation and personalized hospitality.

Luxury in the wilderness

The camp features 14 luxury tents, comprising 12 one-bedroom tents and two two-bedroom family tents. The one-bedroom units measure up to 91 square meters, while the family tents span as much as 178 square meters, with private decks overlooking the surrounding savannah.

Inside, canvas architecture is paired with African eucalyptus wood, brass detailing and spacious living areas. Each tent includes an en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, a private sitting area and expansive views.

Hybrid solar power, reverse-osmosis water purification and Wi-Fi add modern conveniences without overwhelming the wilderness setting.

Safari at close range

Location is central to the experience. One Nature Nyaruswiga is about a 25-minute scenic drive from Seronera Airstrip, placing guests within easy reach of game-rich areas across the Serengeti.

Guided drives use specially designed open safari vehicles, with opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and other wildlife.

Guests can also take to the skies on balloon safaris or explore the landscape on guided walks. Sundowners, bush breakfasts and dinners extend the safari beyond traditional game drives, while excursions to the Ngorongoro Crater offer another way to experience northern Tanzania’s celebrated wildlife destinations.

Dining beneath the stars

Food is woven into the camp experience, with the main dining area serving African-inspired and international cuisine. Private butler service adds a more personal touch, while outdoor meals shift the focus from the dining room to the surrounding wilderness and open Serengeti skies.

Bush dinners create a distinctly African setting, pairing locally inspired dishes with lanterns and a traditional campfire atmosphere.

During the Great Migration, guests can also arrange excursions toward the Mara River, where seasonal wildlife movements create one of the region’s most closely watched natural spectacles.

A retreat beyond safari

Away from the game drives, the camp offers a heated infinity pool, jacuzzi, gym, spa treatments, lounge and bar, outdoor entertainment and an astral observatory.

Those facilities give guests room to slow down between excursions while keeping the surrounding wilderness central to the stay.

For luxury travelers, One Nature Nyaruswiga offers a contemporary take on the classic African safari, combining intimate accommodation, personalized service and extensive wilderness access.

Its setting in Central Serengeti makes the camp a base for exploring Tanzania’s wildlife while maintaining the privacy and comfort expected of a high-end retreat.
