  • Tucked beneath a UNESCO World Heritage site, LUX* Le Morne delivers refined tranquility, beachfront elegance, and sweeping views just over an hour from Mauritius’ main airport.
  • Renovated sustainably at $2.75 million, the 5-star boutique resort features 149 elegant rooms and suites designed to blend tropical ease with refined Mauritian character.

Tucked beneath the dramatic Le Morne Brabant mountain on Mauritius’ southwestern coast, LUX* Le Morne is a serene sanctuary for those seeking barefoot luxury this festive season. This intimate 5-star boutique resort blends natural beauty with refined hospitality, offering a soulful escape by the Indian Ocean.

Redefined luxury at Le Morne’s edge

Set along a secluded white-sand beach and nestled beneath lush tropical foliage, LUX Le Morne enjoys a breathtaking view of the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Brabant. Just over an hour’s drive from the international airport, the resort recently underwent a major renovation—initially budgeted at MUR500 million ($11 million).

By tapping into local design talent and managing the project in-house, ownership optimized the transformation, ultimately completing it for MUR125 million ($2.75 million) without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Refined comfort

Its 149 rooms and suites are retreats of calm, each with private balconies or terraces overlooking either the turquoise sea or verdant mountain. Earthy tones, elegant interiors, and thoughtful amenities create a relaxed elegance that invites deep rest.

Festive magic

The resort embraces the season with gentle celebration—plush beds invite long lie-ins, sunrise yoga welcomes each day, and candlelit beach dinners unfold beneath starlit skies. Creole rhythms set the tone, while Santa brings delight to younger guests.

Island-flavored dining

Gastronomy here is both global and deeply Mauritian. The Kitchen offers generous buffets and curated dinners; East tempts with Thai flavors in a romantic oceanfront setting. The Beach and Bar deliver fresh bites, handcrafted cocktails, and toes-in-the-sand ease. Every dish carries the warmth and spice of island life.

Wellness by nature

At LUX* Me Spa, holistic rituals and locally inspired treatments offer head-to-toe rejuvenation. Guests unwind with massages, facials, and detox rituals or recharge in the yoga pavilion, modern fitness center, or serene swimming pools.

A holiday to remember

At LUX* Le Morne, every detail—every sunrise and sunset—is designed to soothe and uplift. This Christmas, retreat to a place where time slows, senses awaken, and memories are made by the ocean.
