Six Senses Zil Pasyon sits on Félicité Island, a granite outcrop ringed by turquoise water and reached by a 20-minute helicopter flight from Mahé.

In Creole, “Zil Pasyon” means island of passion, a name that reflects the resort’s focus on privacy, design and service rather than spectacle.

The arrival is quiet and deliberate. Guests step into open-air spaces framed by rock formations and native forest, with sweeping views across the Indian Ocean.

The resort’s layout favors distance and discretion, giving travelers the sense of having the island largely to themselves.

Architecture plays a central role. Villas and public areas are built into the natural slope, using wood, stone and glass to soften the line between indoors and outdoors.

It is modern without feeling stark, and polished without losing its island character.

That balance extends to daily life at the resort. Days move at an unhurried pace, shaped by the tide, the weather and the rhythm of island routines.

Villas and shared spaces

The resort has 30 private pool villas, ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each comes with an infinity pool, outdoor deck, dining area and wine cellar.

Interiors lean toward clean lines and natural tones, with wide windows that keep the ocean in constant view.

At the center of the property, the main pool sits close to the shoreline, where waves break against the rocks below.

Six bars and restaurants spread across the resort give guests options without crowding any single space.

Wellness and island activities

Wellness is a core part of the Six Senses brand, and Zil Pasyon follows the same approach.

The spa complex is built into granite boulders on the eastern side of the island, with treatment rooms set in rock, cave and ocean-facing spaces.

Guests can join daily yoga sessions, book private treatments, or take part in cooking classes using local ingredients.

Water sports, fishing, kayaking and island-hopping trips are available, while evenings often end with outdoor cinema screenings under the stars.

Food and dining

Dining is a highlight, though prices reflect the logistics of operating on a remote island.

Island Café serves all-day international dishes, while Ocean Kitchen offers themed evening menus, including Creole and seafood nights.

Quality is consistently high, with careful presentation and attentive service.
