Accor, a world-leading French hospitality group, is extending its footprint in Egypt through a partnership with Contact Developments, a prominent Egyptian real estate developer  to launch the Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences.

The project marks the Pullman brand’s debut in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, a planned city positioned as a future administrative and business hub east of Cairo.

Designed to attract government institutions, multinational companies, and high-income residents, the area has become a focal point for international hotel operators seeking long-term growth in North Africa’s hospitality market.

Mixed-use model anchors luxury demand

The development combines a 150-key five-star Pullman hotel with around 100 branded residences, reflecting a broader shift in Egypt’s real estate sector toward integrated hospitality living.

Rather than operating as a conventional hotel alone, the project merges short-stay accommodation with private ownership units managed under hotel services. Target demand includes business travelers, expatriates, and long-stay residents seeking serviced luxury living with operational convenience.

Amenities include multiple dining venues, a specialty restaurant, spa and wellness facilities, a fitness center, swimming pool, and dedicated meeting and events infrastructure, positioning the asset as a full lifestyle destination rather than a single-purpose hotel.

Prime position in a high-growth corridor

Located along Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and overlooking the Green River, the property sits within one of Egypt’s most strategically developed infrastructure corridors.

The New Administrative Capital is expected to concentrate ministries, corporate headquarters, and premium residential districts, creating sustained demand for hospitality services tied to business travel and institutional activity.

This positioning gives Pullman exposure to emerging commercial clusters where occupancy rates and asset values are closely linked to government relocation and private sector expansion.
