Imarrae secures final approvals for KIN project

Imarrae has secured all regulatory approvals required for its KIN residential development in New Cairo, clearing a key hurdle ahead of the start of construction.

The company said building work is expected to begin in the coming weeks, keeping the project on its planned timeline.

The approvals include master plan sign-off, a ministerial decree, building and excavation permits, environmental clearance, Civil Defense approval and decennial liability insurance.

Together, they complete the full regulatory framework needed to move the project from design into execution.

The company described the milestone as a necessary step in advancing one of its largest residential developments.

It also reflects the structured approval process that governs major real estate projects in Egypt’s New Cairo district, where demand for housing continues to grow.

KIN sits within one of Egypt’s most active residential corridors, where developers are expanding supply to meet rising interest in modern, master-planned communities.

Construction set to begin after regulatory clearance

With approvals now in place, Imarrae said it is preparing to mobilize construction teams on site.

The company added that the permitting process was completed in line with national building codes and safety standards.

The start of construction in the coming weeks is expected to keep the development on track, supporting timely delivery across its phased rollout.

New Cairo project targets long-term residential demand

The KIN project spans 23 acres in New Cairo with a total investment exceeding 16 billion Egyptian pounds, or about $323 million. It includes a mix of residential units aimed at buyers seeking long-term value in a growing urban district.

The master plan emphasizes open green spaces, pedestrian-friendly streets and community-focused living.

Features include landscaped parks, a retail promenade, sports and recreation facilities, cycling and jogging tracks, underground parking, private townhouse gardens and a 24-hour security system.

Designed by UAE-based Al Asri Consultant, the project combines contemporary architecture with practical urban planning intended to support livability and long-term occupancy.

Imarrae highlights execution discipline and delivery focus

“Securing all approvals for KIN marks a significant milestone in our development journey,” said Ahmed Khedr, chief executive of Imarrae.

“It reflects our disciplined approach to planning and execution and our commitment to delivering on our promises.”

Imarrae is an Egypt-based real estate developer focused on residential communities, with a portfolio concentrated in New Cairo and surrounding growth areas.

The company continues to expand its footprint through large-scale, master-planned developments aimed at Egypt’s growing housing market.
